Filippo Addarii is Co-founder and Managing Partner of PlusValue. A leading European expert in social impact finance and socio-economic transformation, during his career he has collaborated on impact projects with institutions such as the European Commission, the European Investment Bank, the British Cabinet Office, the United Nations, as well as numerous philanthropic foundations and multinational businesses, including the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
Filippo served as a member of the European Commission’s advisory board on social business (2011-13) and was a member of Intesa Sanpaolo’s Advisory Board for the €1.2 billion Fund for Impact.
Currently, he also serves as an Advisor to Lendlease for the Euston station regeneration project and is leading a European initiative to develop the first impact index for social infrastructure investments.
Filippo has also contributed to numerous academic papers on social innovation and urban regeneration, as well as European policy documents and is an Industrial Professor of Finance and Ethics at the Institute of Finance and Technology, University College London.
