Dimitrios is a senior researcher specialising in sustainable finance, ESG, and financial innovation. During his previous experience in academia and consultancy, Dimitrios worked with leading financial institutions, academic institutions, and major research centres.

He has investigated the link between ESG and the financial performance of SMEs and designed ESG performance indexes and risk measurement tools. As a researcher, Dimitrios works to promote a more sustainable financial growth model to generate valuable insight for both the academic and the business world.

Dimitrios holds a PhD in financial innovation and sustainability from Ghent University and has worked as a Doctoral Fellow and Post-Doctoral Researcher at Vlerick Business School and Ghent University.
